Only students who have signed online for a shift of 45-minute will be allowed in the library. The student and accompanying parent must wear a mask. The student temperature will be taken prior to coming in the library. During the 45-minute shift, a student may take one quiz or as many as possible during that period. If a student has sibling(s) who also want(s) to take AR quizzes, make sure that they sign online for their own 45-minute shift. The students and parents should wear a mask and observe social distancing. Only the students will be allowed inside of the library, except for 1st-grade parent as mentioned below. They will be sitting at individual tables to follow the social distancing rule. As it is important for first-grade student to correctly read the AR quiz, one adult will be allowed to sit with his/her child at the table in order to help them navigate the AR program. If a first-grade student has younger siblings, please do not bring them as one adult only may sit with the first-grade student. Parents may wait for their students in the conference room or outside of the library respecting social distancing guidelines. There will be 12 spots of each 45-minute shift. The day will start at 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a lunch break.
This is the description of your section break.
A quiz may only be taken once. After quizzing starts, a student cannot go back to change previous answers. NO cell phones are allowed in the testing area. Students may only take AR quizzes on books itemized on their grade level summer reading list and/or approved by email (zimmer@sjdlschool.com) AR points earned during summer will count towards the 2020-2021 Reading Prizes and Awards. We do not check out books during the summer. Students may either bring a list of books they read or bring the books themselves in order to type correctly the title of each book. Have a great summer!
